Great owners and a great place for a class trip and family outing.
I can’t recommend this farm enough! Everyone was so sweet to us. There are so many activities for kids included in the admission price. My daughter loved all of them, especially the corn pit and barrel train ride. The apple pies, doughnuts, and slushies were all delicious. We loved you could actually pick your own pumpkins (the varieties are unique as well). Overall, it was an amazing day and we have many wonderful memories thanks to Henry River Farms.
Such a beautiful place with friendly staff. My grandsons and I had so much fun!!!!! We all loved the apple cider slushie. Thank you for making it affordable to bring kids and have fun ❤️

Went for the pumpkin patch. No free pumpkins. All pumpkins cost. Website specifies “admission includes all farm activities.” One listing pumpkin picking. Pumpkin isn’t free, pay by size, this needs to be stated on the website. The pumpkins that doesn’t have a price tag is “i think it’s $20.” (The cashier said) My family had fun, but as for a pumpkin patch, we did expect pumpkins to be with the admission as stated on website.
Great experience for kids. We visited this farm on a Thursday, and found it uncrowded and relaxing. They have a small gift shop section and beautiful pumpkins. The corn maze was decimated by Helene, but we still had fun completing the crossword puzzle and finding the correct path from start to finish. The animals were friendly as well as the family. Farmer Tyler offered a mini train tractor ride and a "hayless" hay ride around the farm. My kids favorite thing was the bounce pillow. What kid doesn't love to bounce? That paid for itself right there. The portable bathrooms were clean 👌 which was a big plus. They offer refreshments but not on the Thursday that we went. However, there are lots of picnic tables for families and groups to have lunch. With so many things closed after Helene came through, we were so thankful to find Henry River Farm open for visitors. If you have kids, this is a great place to bring them.
Cost was $5 adults and $8 kids do to free activities inside (hay ride, cow kiddy ride, corn maze, jumping pad, Highland cows, and more). You pick sunflowers or zinnias were 50 cents per blossom. Hotdogs stand was there on a Saturday. Gift shop, bakery, and apple slushies available. Also, a barn for birthdays/events.
First time at a corn maze. Plenty of pumpkins buy as many as you want. All different sizes. Plenty of fun got the kids. Cow train, slide house, bowling with pumpkins, soccer, sand box, corn box, hotdogs stand, fried waffles, drinks, picnic tables available. So much fun for family for just $5.00 a person. Food and drinks and pumpkins priced separate.
