Milk is filtered and chilled straight after milking and tested weekly for bacteria counts.
Raw goats' milk is sold through a herdshare, the legal route to raw milk in Ohio, where members buy into the herd and collect their share each week. Milk can be taken raw or gently pasteurised on request, and members regularly come back for the goats' cheese too.
