The family also raises cows, and their farm store sells fresh fruits and vegetables through the seasons, with a lot of the produce grown on the farm itself.
The store is open seven days a week and carries fresh local honey, raw milk, and jars of jams, jellies and pickled vegetables alongside the farm's own crops. Hughey Farms accepts most debit and credit cards as well as SNAP and EBT, and takes part in the South Carolina Senior Farmers Market voucher scheme. Christmas trees and firewood appear later in the year, and updates on what is in season go out on the farm's Facebook page.

Great people. Great stand. The tartine & finnish sourdough they have brought in is amazing. Peaches are always good. A nice convenient place for raw milk and some other produce as well.
This is a good farm but not a humane society! The amount of dogs in this place is ridiculous. My daughter bent down to pet one and the young man at the register said "she doesn't like to be messed with". Clearly imlying the dog was unsafe around strangers, and yet there are like 5 of them roaming through the market. When I came in a few weeks later, those same dogs were all around me and when I told the same man I was uncomfortable because I dont trust dogs that are not my own, he made it clear I was not welcome. I am sorry, but last I checked farmers markets should ensure their customers feel safe and comfortable. If you want to bring your dogs to work atleast put them on a leash! Not everyone knows your dogs temperament like you do! And your customers should get a comfortable shopping experience! Not that will be shopping at Hughey Market in the future, I will be taking my business else where. I love dogs but also know that they don't belong in th work place, dogs dont like all people, and neither do all love dogs. Please keep them on a leash or at home! For the safety and respect of your customers!
