Palmatier Farms

Gotta give a 5 Star, love the info Nancy has about her goats. Shes as close to a zero waste goat milk everything producer as they come! She also has a small Co-Op going, aside from her All Things Goats (from milk to cheese to soaps/lotions & bug off) she is also working with a local honey producer, a local micro green farmer, a poultry & egg producer and a meat provider (from a truly grass fed, grass finished regenerative farm that brings in goats to eat the weeds to avoid using pesticides). What a gal! And her husband is a wonderful wood craftsman! Stop in & Check them out! One thing I will say, their Farm Sign by the road is great. But the driveway is a bit confusing (they should consider adding small signs along the driveway with arrows for parking for new customers so you don’t feel like you’re trespassing & about to drive into someone’s back yard. But if you see the sign by the street, you’re at the right place, take the driveway to the back of the property there are two small parking lots. The large white shop behind the house is the farm store (look for the sign), the entrance door faces the back of their home. There is no entrance on the back of that building where the goats are located. 👍🏽

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Palmatier Farms in Belton, SC, and it was an unforgettable experience for our family, especially for our grandson. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly goats, which instantly won our hearts. Watching our grandson joyfully run from pen to pen, meeting each gentle goat, was a highlight. The animals were so sweet with him, creating such a special, memorable moment for all of us. The farm offers more than just interactions with the animals. Our grandson was also thrilled to ride on the tractor and golf cart, adding an extra layer of fun to our visit. We made sure to stop by the farm store, where we purchased some delightful, fragrant soaps and shampoo bars. It’s clear that the Palmatier family takes pride in every aspect of the farm. It was a pleasure chatting with them and learning about their dedication to both the farm and the local Belton Farmers Market, which they work tirelessly to support. If you're in the area, I highly recommend visiting Palmatier Farms. It’s the perfect family outing, and supporting this hardworking, local family farm is a joy in itself. We can’t wait to return!
