Well, this location is no longer open I guess? There are signs everywhere saying they are open but there is literally nothing there. I was incredibly disappointed.
By far some of the best meat we’ve ever had! Stephanie is great and everything we have purchased from them so far is great quality.
Bought a bag of beef bones for my dog, at a cost of over $75.00! Sold by the weight. When I thawed the bag out and dumped the water out, the weight was just over 3 pounds but I paid for over 5 pounds! Sounds like their practicing Walmarts tactics. Won't be buying from them again.
Should be negative stars. Stephanie exhibits poor communication skills and professionalism. She neglected to acknowledge how poorly she handled the issues she caused. I drove an hour and half minutes round trip, every Sunday for the month of January to get tallow products I purchased with my milk subscription. She never sent it. She ignored texts and calls on multiple occasions to find out what the issue was. I, the customer, even offered to help her remember. It wasn't until the bank processed the dispute I filed due to undelivered products that she took action to refund my money. She can pretend to be a busy business owner, but since I run a large SUCCESSFUL family business myself, I know what it entails and know customer relationships have to be a priority - otherwise you have no business. From her reviews, it's evident she can't take ownership of her inadequacies, but I've attached my screenshots. Instead of making excuses or deflecting, she should learn to apologize and make it right (though she offered to ship after 3 weeks of failures, faith in her abilities was lost - and couldn't be bothered to follow through with a refund). Then when Visa refunded my money and THEY didn’t accept her partial refund because of her practices, she claimed I stole from her. Not only did she make herself and her business look bad, she made Jonathan, the host of the Fall Creek market she partners with, look bad as well. While he tried to step in and help resolve the issue, she ignored him too. Stephanie is a poor excuse for a business owner.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up
I stumbled across the instagram page for Vincent Farms a couple months ago and am so glad I did! They are local to us and ordering has been so easy. It’s great knowing our farmer and following along with their daily operations via social media! The cherry on top is that the meat is fresh and flavorful and we’ve enjoyed trying new cuts as they’ve come available!
Contracted River V Growers to build retaining wall around property and ended up with a disaster. A two week job lasted four months. Very little communication from River V Growers, weeks would go by without any work and no progress reports. Very disappointed and will need to hire other vendors to finish job.
Stephanie was helpful and knowledgeable. There were several people there, but she did a great job of checking on everyone, and it gave me more time to look around. The plants are much better quality than I have seen elsewhere, and there were some unexpected surprises (lemongrass, pink lemon tree). She loaded it all up for me. Also, a great place to get metal yard art.
