Hillbilly Nutrition is a first generation pasture to plate farm in Waxahachie, Texas, started in 2012 by a couple of local foodies who set out to redefine what real food meant.
They raise heritage breed Red Wattle pigs and pastured laying hens, with no hormones, antibiotics or vaccines, on pastures free from GMOs, pesticides and herbicides. They also sell grass fed, grass finished beef from a favourite farm in Italy, Texas, and pastured chicken from Campbell, Texas.
Shop online around the clock and pick up at the farm, or call in at the farm store on Saturday mornings, with weekday visits by appointment. They also run on farm classes through their Farm and Garden School.

Gary and Tracy who own the farm are passionate farmers. The store has tons of different pasture raised meats, eggs and so many other goodies. I like this small farm.

We had the wonderful opportunity to visit Hillbilly Nutrition today. We were warmly welcomed Gary, Tracy, and the family. Y'all, they are the real deal! Get your farm-grown, organic produce from them at reasonable prices and support locally-owned businesses.
