Texadus Family Farm

The family moved from Southern California in 2004, started their homestead with chicks and guinea keets, and were won over by their first taste of raw goat milk that same year. Two LaMancha does called Gypsy and Vickie Rae began a herd the family still milks by hand every day.

The farm is best known for its goat milk soap, made a small batch at a time in wooden moulds Harold builds, using fresh milk from their own herd. The online shop adds salves, balms, herbal teas, spice blends, syrups, and jams made with honey. Goat milk, eggs and seasonal produce are available from the farm, which usually milks year round, and the family sell year round on Saturday mornings at the Nacogdoches Farmers Market and at local festivals and stores.
