Wilson Homestead

The land carries chickens, guineas, muscovy ducks, barn cats and Megan's beloved milk cows, with a big garden every year and an orchard and food forest taking shape. Megan writes and films constantly about the life: homesteading, from scratch cooking, canning, fermenting and the realities of keeping a family milk cow.

The farm offers nutrient dense A2/A2 grassfed raw milk through a herdshare. Joining costs ten dollars a year towards animal care and milking, then twelve dollars a gallon at weekly pickup on the farm, in swapped glass mason jars, and members can arrange a visit to meet the cows. The family also makes the products it could not find made honestly elsewhere, so the shop carries handmade soap, deodorant, lip balm and lotion with no synthetic fragrances, additives or colours.
