The products are you good, people were friendly, served free coffee and pastries. Old style country store with hard wood floors. Getting there you drive down s long gravel road. It was worth the trip.
Auburnlea Farms is a family farm in Gladys, Virginia offering raw milk herd shares, pastured meats and eggs, sold from its on farm store The Grainery and at Lynchburg markets.
Auburnlea Farms is a family operation run by Rick and Becky Bennett at 5500 Mollies Creek Road in Gladys, Virginia, raising pasture based livestock using responsible practices. In their own words, all of the animals are raised on pasture, with the poultry supplemented with non GMO grains. The farm offers dairy herd shares for access to raw milk, along with USDA inspected, vacuum packed beef, farm processed poultry, turkey and brown eggs.
The Bennetts turned an old grainery barn on the farm into their farm store, The Grainery, which carries their meats alongside dried grains, beans, nuts, baking supplies and other local food and handcrafted items. Beyond the farm gate they sell at the Lynchburg Community Market on Saturdays year round and the Forest Farmers Market on Saturdays from April to October, with wholesale available by request.
