About the farm
New Dawn Acres is a family farm in Rocky Mount, Virginia selling raw A2 milk from Jersey cows and goats through herd shares, plus yogurt, cheese, kefir and gelato.
New Dawn Acres is a family farm at Rocky Mount, Virginia, milking Jersey cows alongside Standard Lamancha and Nigerian Dwarf goats, all fed non GMO feed. The milk is raw and A2/A2, and the farm takes particular care over cleanliness and temperature at every stage of milking, which shows in the taste and the shelf life.
Dairy is supplied through a herd share, with cow milk shares open and goat milk shares returning in spring 2027. Members can take milk or put part of their share towards yogurt, feta, chèvre, cottage cheese, kefir, gelato, buttermilk or Jersey cream. Pick up is at the farm at weekends, or through weekly deliveries to drop points from Roanoke to Floyd.
