Tablehurst FarmRaw milk farm in Forest Row4.6 (402 reviews)Tablehurst Farm is a biodynamic farm at Forest Row in East Sussex whose award winning farm shop has grown from a tiny one day a week operation back in the 1990s. The butcher's counter sells the farm's own biodynamic beef and lamb and organic pork and chicken, with nitrate free bacon cured and smoked on site, and the six hectare garden supplies over ninety varieties of biodynamic fruit and vegetables.
The shop also stocks bread baked on the farm by Fermento Bakery, eggs from Orchard Eggs, cheeses from High Weald Dairy and around fifty savoury pies and ready meals from the farm's own Pie Kitchen. Raw milk from the grass fed Jersey herd, whose calves stay with their mothers until they can graze, is sold from a vending machine outside the shop, so bring your own container.

The farm shop sells all the farm's own produce plus organic goods from local suppliers, open 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and closed Sundays and bank holidays. There is an open farm policy too, so pick up a map in the shop and take the farm walk to see how the land and animals are kept.
