Tablehurst Farm is a biodynamic community farm in Forest Row, East Sussex selling raw Jersey milk, its own biodynamic beef and lamb, organic pork and chicken, and homegrown vegetables from its farm shop.
Tablehurst Farm is a biodynamic farm at Forest Row in East Sussex whose award winning farm shop has grown from a tiny one day a week operation back in the 1990s.
The butcher's counter sells the farm's own biodynamic beef and lamb and organic pork and chicken, with nitrate free bacon cured and smoked on site, and the six hectare garden supplies over ninety varieties of biodynamic fruit and vegetables.
The shop also stocks bread baked on the farm by Fermento Bakery, eggs from Orchard Eggs, cheeses from High Weald Dairy and around fifty savoury pies and ready meals from the farm's own Pie Kitchen. Raw milk from the grass fed Jersey herd, whose calves stay with their mothers until they can graze, is sold from a vending machine outside the shop, so bring your own container.

Good quality, but expensive... premium meat, you can really taste the difference. On Fridays they make pizza outdoors, but the organization is terrible and the supply is quite limited compared to the demand. Lately, measures have been introduced to prevent children from playing freely—such as climbing trees (we are in a rural setting, and it's something all kids love doing)—and I don't agree with enforcing these restrictions in the name of 'safety' (meanwhile, I had to help a lady who slipped on the wet floor...). The cafe is almost always closed; there isn't much vibrancy. This place could offer so much more.
I can't rate Tablehurst farm shop, high enough I went here with my family on a Saturday, and we had an amazing experience. Where to start, everything was great, we went for a long walk around the farm fields seeing all the animals, then we stopped and had lunch, the Burgers were amazing the best burger I ever had. Then after that we went to the Farm shop, and what can I say everything looked great. We did Purchase some Sirloin steak, we did get a whole chicken, and sausages, Row milk and yogurt, and Butter. And I have to say that everything was amazing. I come from a different country, and it is very difficult to get good staff from supermarkets. Everything that I had from Tablehurst Farm was delicious, it reminded me of the Food back Home. Definitely will recommend Tablehurst Farm to Friends and family And definitely will be coming back soon for some amazing and delicious food Thank you Lumi.

Looking forward to adding some Mozzarella to the great tomatoes I picked up. Good blend of fruit and veg, lots of it local. Food selection of local cheeses and some different 'treat' items.
Great decaf mocha and the best almond croissant I've ever had!
Love the shop and atmosphere.
The coffee here is outstanding! They use beans from the wonderful Monmouth coffee and I had a superb oat flat white - microfine texture all the way down to the bottom of the cup (many coffee shops served up what becomes a milky long black after a couple of sips)
Just had a wonderful breakfast, bacon is superb, milk and kefir so good, the milk especially creamy and lush.
Very good shop but prices are higher than any other farm I have been to.
I had the best experience of a hot chocolate, I've ever had at Tablehurst farm cafe. Elliot produced such a thoughtful and warming drink that it took me back to the comfort of being a child again. Perfect for a wintery day and even better drunk through a straw!
A breath of fresh air situated in the middle of the countryside. Organic bio diversified grown fruit and vegetables available in the farm shop. Butchers shop. Organic cafe with a feel of the outdoors. Chidrens play area dog friendly. Go for a long walk on one of the trails. Get the smell of the farm with the cows and sheep. A real treat for ALL the family.
Despite the drizzle and it being overcast and grey, that didn't stop me thinking I really liked this place even though it was a brief visit, call it more of a recce to find out more about it. Elliot makes a good flat white and cappuccino, the sausage rolls were delicious, so good we got some to take home. The farm shop had some good local produce and the staff were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning when the weather improves to explore the walking trails around farm.
Excellent organic products! Nice and tasty. Good variety of vegetables, fruits and meat. You can even enjoy fresh raw milk. The area is also nice to explore and there is a a small coffee garden to enjoy the fresh products you just bought. Only the price is limiting me a bit but we sometime need to pay the price to enjoy the quality. P.S. I really appreciated that there is a dedicated place to park bicycles.
