- 1Caerfai FarmRaw milk farm in Haverfordwest4.8 (173 reviews)Caerfai Farm sits right above Caerfai Bay in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, an easy stroll from St Davids, the smallest city in the UK. The farm is run organically and is well known locally for its organic cheese, including an unpasteurised Caerffili and a farmhouse cheddar, along with raw milk from its own herd.
The farm shop sells the cheese, milk and other produce on site through the season. Caerfai is also a place to stay, with four period holiday cottages and a campsite above the bay, open from the middle of May to the end of September.

It is a 170 acre working beef farm on the coast near Strumble Head, with about 110 acres of pasture grazed by the cattle or cut for hay and silage to feed them through the winter. The herd is pedigree Red Ruby Devon, a native breed that finishes well on grass, and the first eight cows arrived in November 2017. The animals are fed nothing but grass and the hay and silage made in the farm's own fields, and they live outdoors all year apart from exceptional winter weather.
The farm is certified under the Pasture Fed Livestock Association for 100% pasture fed meat and under Farm Assured Welsh Livestock (Red Tractor), and the cattle are managed under the Premium Cattle Health Scheme. David and Debbie farm at low intensity, so every animal has plenty of space and the cattle are left to mature slowly rather than pushed to gain weight quickly. Their beef is hung for three weeks and jointed by a local butcher, and the farm is listed as a meat producer with Pasture for Life. In July 2024 they sold their flock of Lleyn sheep to concentrate on the cattle, and they let two converted farm buildings, the Granary and the Dairy, as holiday cottages on the same site.
- 3Fox's Fridge FarmRaw milk farm in TenbyFox's Fridge Farm sells milk straight from the farm at South Astridge Farm near Tenby. The family behind it care deeply about British farming and animal welfare, and the aim is simple, traceable produce from a farm you can actually visit.
The milk comes from a self service dispenser at the farm, open every day from 7am to 7pm, so you can fill up whenever suits. Alongside the milk the farm sells its own meat. Bring a bottle and help yourself.

Penbanc PastureButcherPenbanc Pasture is Kate's small farm at Glanrhyd near Cardigan in Pembrokeshire. Native breed sheep and cattle, including Traditional Herefords, are fed on nothing but grasses, herbs and hedgerows, Tamworth pigs roam the woodland, and the land is kept free of chemicals, with clean grazing used instead of routine wormers.
Meat is sold through the farm's online shop, delivered or collected from the farm, and there is a holiday cottage at Penbanc if you want to stay and see the place for yourself. Email or ring Kate to ask what is available.

Coast path walking - best campsite we stayed at. Beautiful site, views, well organised and maintained while also feeling simple and basic. Pitched up and walked down for a late afternoon swim, short walk to St Davids for food. Charged £8 pp for walkers! Farm shop was also brilliant - saved by coffee and fresh croissants on a very wet morning!! Book in advance as they get full!

Wow! The most incredible place we've ever stayed. The views are out of this world. The cottage is beautiful. Debbie and David are amazing hosts. They really have thought of every single little detail and more. Things I didn't even realise we needed were there. It's perfect for families. Could not fault our holiday and cannot wait to go back!!
