The family keep goats, chickens, pigs, bees, turkeys and alpacas, embrace the circle of life with as little waste as possible, and share their skills through animal science courses for kids, summer camps and adult classes in traditional crafts like soap making and cheese making. Products are made from what the homestead raises, with natural ingredients and time honoured techniques. The family also do metal fabrication, from branding irons to livestock handling equipment.
