My wife and I had a great morning at the Natural Hive. Brian, our instructor, made it informative, interesting and most enjoyable. Safety conscious, he individually checked all six students' bee suits to ensure that there were no gaps but in fact the bees were only curious, not aggressive, and, as he predicted, no one was stung. To see inside a working bee hive was absolutely fascinating and it amazes one just how clever these insects are. We greatly enjoyed the company of our fellow students and also the excellent snack lunch at the end. To anyone wondering whether to go on the course themselves or to give it as a present, I have no hesitation in saying "Book it"!
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Learnt so much. John our bee keeper was so knowledgable and interesting. Answered all our questions. Finished with a delicious lunch which was unexpected. Would definitely recommend.
Bought this for my dad as a birthday present. He loved it! Very informative and hands on experience. Brian kept the whole group engaged and has incredible knowledge. If anyone is thinking of booking, do it!

So interesting to hear all the amazing facts about the honey bees and being actually hands on at the hive. Actually saw a new bee being born. Great time and would really recommend this experience! Shout out to Brian.

We had a fantastic time at our Beekeeping Experience. Really fun and relaxed, but also fascinating to see it all close up and get hands on. There was a good mix of people there and everyone got on and had a lovely time. Sam was a brilliant host and looked after everyeone. Well organised and well worth it. Highly recommended.
Beekeeping experience was absolutely fantastic. It was fun, full of fascinating facts, and such a unique way to spend the day. We loved the delicious food that was prepared for us, and taking home a jar of honey was the perfect finishing touch. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something memorable and different.
We just finished the beekeeping experience with Brian today. He was absolutely amazing, I loved all the facts he taught us and the hands on experience he provided. Highly recommend!! Ps a fun bee fact is that all the cells that store the honey are tilted 15 degrees to prevent it from dripping out 🙌🙌
Was gifted a Bee keeping experience. I had a great time - the instructor was excellent providing lots of info on everything you could wish to know, had some fresh honey after and nobody got stung!
