Tucking into some delicious cheeses and sourdough crackers with a bottle of 'Whispering Angel' this evening after coming across the 'Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese' stall in Saint Albans Market this afternoon, fine purveyors of beautifully made rare and unusual cheeses, as well as the raw milk and butter. I thank you!
Superb Butter and Cheese. Sadly not available at the farm but well worth looking for.
Top quality Raw milk butter and cheese 🧀 and lovely people to deal with 😊👍
At St Ives Farmers Market Sold me a real nice bit of Stilton. I paired it with a splendid apple from Heath Fruit farm stall also at St Ives farmers market. Fantastic, this would make some real Christmas magic. Sorry no pictures of the cheese. It didn't last long enough.
Simply fantastic cheese. The poacher, with a great waxy texture and the vintage poacher with a little more crunch but still as smooth waxy hard cheese feel. These are two cheeses which should adorn any cheese board, showing off the best in British Artisan Cheese.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Crikey. The milk is delicious. And the cheese is amazing. Currently munching my way through the blue cheese, stichelton, which is an absolute belter of perfect crumble and strong creamy texture. No messing around having to leave it out of the fridge to get the most enhanced texture and flavour - this cheese is gorgeous. The butter is also fabulous. And then the service, lovely little hand written note with the delivery, the goods arrived incredibly well packaged and chilled. And the delivery was quick. Will I be ordering more? Absolutely.
