Fantastic ice cream, quick service even with a queue…grandkids enjoyed the park and seeing the calf’s.
We spent a lovely afternoon here. My grandchildren loved the play area and the calves. Ice-cream was excellent and a good price. We would all highly recommend it.
Brilliant selection of fresh ice-cream. We come here every time we are visiting the north east. Today was especially lovely as we got to see the baby cows 😍
Best ice-cream around.
Really delicious ice cream. Great flavours. Accommodating for gluten free but make sure that you say when ordering.
Absolutely brilliant ice creams and sorbets served at the dairy farm. Great selection of flavours including some really unusual ones (liquorice!). We loved the cherry and chocolate and hazelnut.
Called on a warm Saturday afternoon. Bit of a queue but happy to wait. Ice cream was nice enough. I asked for coconut which tasted of vanilla. My wife wanted a double scoop of salted caramel. The tub was nearly empty and instead of the server waiting for more I was handed my two ice creams. Both double scoops. My wife’s was clearly a good 1/3 less than mine and a bit embarrassing for the £5 paid. My advice. Don’t have coconut and if the one you want is from a tub that’s nearly empty, pick something else or you’ll end up with a short measure.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Another lovely visit to Morwick. A cone and single scoop, two single scoop tubs and a coffee for just over £13. Service was quick and friendly. A lovely gent offered to bring my coffee out while I navigated the pram to our table. So kind and not expected. The highlight for my 6 year old being the calves relaxing by the overflow car park. And the lovely tidy play area a real added bonus. Loos clean, tidy & accessible. It gets really busy so be prepared to queue - definitely worth just using the over flow car park rather than waiting for a space at the front door. I have a vague memory of a milk dispenser on our list visit? And that seems to have gone now. Overall a lovely visit in a lovely setting.
This is not just ice cream, (this is starting to sound like a M&S advert!) this is THE BEST ice cream on the planet! The different flavours are just heavenly, you will be spoilt for choice. This one happens to be Coffee & Walnut with Mint Choc Chip, it's a good job I live 160 miles away or I'd be seriously overweight! Made a quick detour whilst coming down the A1 for a quality ice-cream. This is Biscoff & Cherry and OMG was it good! You can't get more locally sourced than eating an ice-cream looking at the cows that produced it!
Morwick Dairy Ice Cream is a family favourite. We love to drop in for a treat. Scoops are generous and noticeably creamy, with a dense texture and a clean, milky taste. The flavour range is excellent, with imaginative specials that are always a nice surprise. Last time mine was threaded with caramel for a buttery richness and topped with a chocolate flake. Over the years, favourites have included black cherry, mint choc chip and honeycomb. Whatever I choose, it brings a smile every time. For something lighter and zingy, the lemon sorbet is worth a try. The parlour makes its ice cream in a kitchen just behind the counter, using milk from the farm. With open countryside all around, Morwick keeps us coming back.
