Great farm shop. Took the family pumpkin picking. Lots for the children to do.
Best place to go pumpkin picking and the extra entertainment was amazing and let’s not forget everything is affordable and no that expensive definitely going next year and really looking forward to it 😍🍁👻🎃❤️
We attended today for the annual pumpkin picking experience. Was fantastic, so many pumpkins to choose from, various colours shapes and sizes. They also had areas designed to take them family pumpkin shots. Lots of sweet treats available, rides and donkeys, plus craft activities. The little shops onsite where brilliant, Halloween treats, freshly grown vegetables, local Jams, & decorations, they had it all. Lovely Sunday morning, staff where super helpful and friendly. Pumpkin prices where great, we loved that the pumpkins where grown on the farm. We had a Lovely experience. Would definitely recommend.
Very good.
Called here today as desperate for a very quick pit stop between Swansea and York. Small dark shop and nothing else. Bought some meats that we didn’t actually need from the shop to justify the stop and usage of loo, then wanted to walk for a few mins so the two dogs that had been in the car for several hours could stretch their legs. Literally two minutes is all we needed for the dogs and said to the woman who approached us. Incredibly rude woman effectively marched us back to the car. There is a way to approach and speak to customers that doesn’t necessitate being so impolite. I was stunned. Then to add insult to the experience, got home to find the sausages I’d bought were significantly out of date - almost 3 weeks. They were partially frozen which I was confused at, but now makes sense. See photo. There are no words really except avoid. Thankfully found a much more welcoming spot a little further up the road.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Lovely little shop, exactly what you'd expect of a proper local farm shop. Great to see them stocking organic products. All the regular fruit and veg, lots of herbs and spices, pasta, rice, meat, pies, and lots more.
Lovely pumpkin patch with loads of pumpkins to pick. Free use of carts to carry pumpkins in. Bouncy castle and tea cups over the road. Spent around 2 hours there in total. Wellies are a must!
