Beyond the meat counter you will find sausage rolls, pork pies, eggs, Fordhall honey, dairy, pantry staples, and beer, cider and wine. Shop in person Tuesday to Sunday, or order online with delivery and collection slots booked at checkout.

The family ran a much loved farm shop here for around 30 years before making the sad decision to close it for good at Christmas 2025.
The farming carries on. The farm still sells logs, cut and ready to burn, sold by the bag, and each autumn the pumpkin patch opens for the picking season. Check their Facebook page for dates and news, and note that the farm shop itself is no longer trading.

Clare Hill, a practising regenerative farmer, drives the day to day running of the farm and the direct sale of its pasture raised meat. Beyond the food, Planton is a hub for learning: it hosts immersive workshops and farm tours, and runs the Roots to Regeneration transition accelerator, helping other farmers and food businesses design their own regenerative systems. The aim is nutrient dense food from holistic, circular farming rather than industrialised, extractive systems.

Bloody hell, my son has been begging me to try some real, quality raw milk and we got the chance to come here. It did not disappoint at all. You can taste the effort put into getting this high quality raw milk. If I get the chance to come back I will make sure to take it. An amazing self-serve family business!

I ordered White Cheshire and Mature Cheshire cheeses. My order was delivered very promptly, Very pleased with the excellent quality and flavour of the cheeses, the best I've tasted in a a long time!
