Have just received my salt marsh lamb box. I will only have Welsh lamb from the Gower it’s worth every penny absolutely delicious and over the years I have never been disappointed. Stocked up for Winter casseroles and roasts and my daughter has now fallen in love with Gower salt marsh lamb and ordered her own box.
On my way home from pembrey country park i made a detour to visit and purchase some gower salt marsh lamb, on speaking to the owner i was advised not to use rosemary or garlic as this detracts the taste of the lamb which was prepared fresh yesterday so the leg i bought i cooked today for 5 hours on 160 and put some root veg from our garden with it and we actually had one of the best meals i have ever tried, the lamb was absolutely beautiful, thank you to gower salt marsh lamb and i will be placing an order soon. But you dont have to take my word for it but you will definetly have to try it and make up your own mind.
Shoulder of Gower salt marsh Lamb didn’t disappoint Rubbed in a little sea salt then seared to get the skin golden brown then slow cooked on a bed thick cut carrots and potatoes for 4hrs then rested the bones pulled out clean the lamb was beautifully tender melt in your mouth used the juicer’s to make perfect gravy family really enjoyed will be back for more thank you Gower salt marsh lamb Family.
We came across this old castle, Weobley, on the edge of the marshes in the Gower Peninsula, in May 2013 with a sign for salt marsh lamb. We bought a leg and took it home where the whole family agreed it was the best lamb they had ever tasted. Since then our lamb has come from Gower Salt Marsh Lamb, roasts, chops, racks and cuts to stew. There is a subtle tang to the flavour and it is extremely tender. Added to that the service is great. This really is, in our view, the best lamb available and I am very happy to recommend them.

The very best. Helpful advice when ordering. Cool packs & airtight delivery so straight to the fridge. Carving: beautiful soft, succulent meat - hot & cold. And a bonus: well managed grazing from these sheep helps maintain an internationally important conservation feature. Diolch yn fawr iawn!
Ordering straight forward Delivery as advised Lamb received in excellent condition with good insulation and cool bags still frozen. Well butchered joints and chops in shrink wrap packaging with weight details. Excellent look forward to enjoying. Chris.
I ordered a quarter box of lamb for a celebration meal and to stock up the freeze. Absolutely delighted with the customer service from Salt Marsh Lamb. Easy to order and the box was delivered on time. The contents of the box were insulated, had an ice pack and very well protected. Now the best bit….. the quality of the lamb is superb. We cooked the leg Greek style and had with little roasties and Greek salad. Yum!
