We had such a lovely time at the beekeeping experience with James and Jade. It was great fun, full of giggles, and really interesting. They are both so knowledgeable and passionate about bees! The honey tasting was a real highlight, and the homemade honey cake, flapjacks and biscuits were absolutely delicious. You also get to take home a jar of their honey at the end, and the hot honey is the best! A fantastic experience from start to finish. We would definitely recommend it and the 3 of us would love to come back again! "

We had a truly wonderful time at the farm with Jade and James. They make a tremendous effort to make sure everyone feels welcome And they live for nature and the farm really shines through. We had a fabulous hands on the experience and we would recommend it for anyone. While we were there in our group there was actually somebody who was slightly worried about the bees, but they put her at ease and she really enjoyed the experience.

I did the Bee-keeping Experience last weekend and really enjoyed it. The afternoon started with a very informative session on bees, bee-keeping and bee-hives. Lots to cover but still time for any questions to be answered. This was followed by a hands on session as we opened up a couple of the hives on the farm. Finally over a drink and some cake, we tasted a variety of types of honey, and final questions and an insight into the practicalities of keeping hives on a farm. And a jar of honey to take away. Thoroughly recommended. Thanks to James and Jade.

Thank you James and Jade for an amazing day on Sunday, you were great hosts, so welcoming and friendly. Learnt so much about bees, but also had a lot of fun, the home baked treats at the end were lovely. It was an amazing experience, would definitely recommend 😊.

We had the best time today at Little Walterstone Farm! The beekeeping experience was fantastic from start to finish. Everything was explained so well, and the information was genuinely fascinating and easy to follow. It has completely inspired us and we will definitely be getting our own bees. We have had both lamb & hoggit boxes from Little Walterstone Farm and the quality and service has been exceptional. Great advice around cooking different cuts. We have made loads of incredible dishes with this produce. The honey is also an absolute winner! Lovely people and top quality products from a family run business. 5 star in all areas.

Brilliant experience at Little Walterstone Farm, one I would genuinely recommend to anyone. James and Jade are fantastic hosts; knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly devoted to what they do. Learning about the bees and the role they play in the wider ecosystem was genuinely fascinating. The farm itself is a joy to visit. Everything is done with care, the animals, the produce, the whole operation. Communication beforehand was prompt and easy, which always makes a difference. Support your local farmers. I had such a lovely time at the Bee Keeping course at Walterstone Farm with James and Jade. The talk we had beforehand was super informative and I learned so much about honey bees that I never knew before. The course was amazing and I really encourage everyone to give it a try. James took loads of photos and shared them on a WhatsApp group. You get to get up and close with the bees plus trying different kinds of honey and honey straight from the hive. The honey cake was very tasty as well. Thank you for the jar of honey, it was lovely x 💖 💕
