Little Walterstone Farm is a small family farm at Penmaen on the Gower in Swansea selling unpasteurised Gower wildflower honey, hot honey, beeswax products, and grass fed lamb boxes.

Their honeybees have the whole of Gower to forage across, which makes for a distinctive Welsh honey, and the farm raises lamb and grows its own chillies for a hot honey.
The online shop sells Gower wildflower honey runny, soft set or naturally set, along with hot honey, gift hampers, beeswax cosmetics and candles, Welsh slate giftware and Gower lamb boxes. You will also find their stall at markets in Mumbles and the Marina, and they run beekeeping experience days at the farm.

I did the Bee-keeping Experience last weekend and really enjoyed it. The afternoon started with a very informative session on bees, bee-keeping and bee-hives. Lots to cover but still time for any questions to be answered. This was followed by a hands on session as we opened up a couple of the hives on the farm. Finally over a drink and some cake, we tasted a variety of types of honey, and final questions and an insight into the practicalities of keeping hives on a farm. And a jar of honey to take away. Thoroughly recommended. Thanks to James and Jade.

Thank you James and Jade for an amazing day on Sunday, you were great hosts, so welcoming and friendly. Learnt so much about bees, but also had a lot of fun, the home baked treats at the end were lovely. It was an amazing experience, would definitely recommend 😊.
