Some of the best meat I’ve had and from very happy cows and pigs.
Best place to buy locally raised grass-fed meats. Must try it! You will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a source of ethically grown meat this is it. Make sure and call to get on their email list. Typically open on Saturdays for meats sales.
Best beef and pork you can find.
Love the bone in pork chops and all the meat. Great couple who own the farm.
Nothing wrong with the meat at all. Great flavor and pretty good marbling considering the steer was light in weight. My biggest issue is with the processor. I have used about 6 or 8 different processors over the years and the one that they use is by far the worst. First of all, the cuts they come up with are nothing like I have seen before. Steaks have many small bones because they were not cut correctly and second, the vacuum sealing is the worst I have ever seen. Nothing is under vacuum 3 months later. I am having to reseal almost everything to keep the meat from burning. Also, I don't believe they even look at a cut sheet as just about the entire order was not cut and prepared according to the cut sheet I provided to them. Again, there is nothing wrong with the beef, its just the processor they use that I have a problem with.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Red Hill Farms is a great source for locally raised beef and pork. The quality and flavor of their meats can’t be beat. And Vaughn and Christa are just great people with whom to do business.
