I found Stillwater Farm through the "Localize" app that highlights local farms, and I’m so glad I did. As a first-time customer, I ordered a variety of meats, bread, and eggs and everything has been amazing. I’m actually writing this while munching on the bread (very satisfied), and it’s incredibly soft and delicious! I’ve been trying to move away from mass-produced foods, especially since something about the hormones used tends to make me feel off. It feels good knowing exactly where my food is coming from and that it’s being produced in a more thoughtful, wholesome way. I truly love everything I purchased from Stillwater Farm and appreciate the care they put into what they do. Supporting local farms like this matters to me, and I’m excited to recommend them to others. I live in the Trussville area, and this is definitely about to become part of my Saturday routine.
Top quality products from a small local farm! If you’re like me and hate factory farming, this is a sustainable and ethical alternative. Small farmers have always been the backbone of our communities, and I will continue be a proud supporter of this wonderful small farm.

Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up
Purchased a whole cow in 2022 and loved it. Decided to purchase another whole cow in June 2023 and it has been a poor experience. After trying the meat and thinking it tasted off (compared to our previous cow purchase from them), we reached out to them. The owners were defensive and unwilling to come to a resolution we were happy with. We counted our losses and kept on eating the meat. Tonight, we opened a package that was black and smelled like dead fish (pic included). Likely bacterial contamination. A waste of almost $3500 to purchase what we thought was high quality meat. We also think the processing is not up to par. Look elsewhere to spend your money.
My family and I have loved everything we have gotten from Stillwater Farm! We are regular customers. I can’t say enough good things about them! Bread, milk, chicken, beef, chorizo, elderberry syrup…it’s all great! Very responsive and so friendly! I will use them as long as they are in business and recommend them to anyone!
This is a wonderful family farm with very responsive owners. Stillwater Farms offers a wide variety of beef, chicken, and pork. They also have the most delicious free range eggs and raw milk. Lastly, closer to thanksgiving they offer turkeys for roasting that are absolutely the best tasting bird you’ve ever tasted.
