Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company

This was a great time and definitely worth the trip. Prefer this to visiting wineries.

I really like this Creamery, especially as it is located on the property of the dairy farm. Try the Bay Blue.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company! We hosted a private lunch for our team's End of Summer event, and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. First, I have to give a huge shoutout to Cathy. She was absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire planning process. She was incredibly responsive, organized, accommodating, and genuinely a pleasure to work with. Beyond being professional, she has an amazing personality that made coordinating our event effortless and enjoyable. Having someone who truly cares about creating a great experience makes all the difference, and Cathy delivered above and beyond. When we arrived, we were immediately welcomed by a warm and friendly staff who made our entire group feel right at home. The hospitality was exceptional from the moment we stepped through the door. A special thank you to Sam, who was attentive, personable, and always greeted us with a bright smile throughout our visit. Her positive energy was contagious and helped make the experience even more memorable. The gentleman assisting our group was equally fantastic. He brought such a friendly, upbeat vibe and made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. It was clear that every member of the team genuinely enjoys what they do, and that level of passion shines through in every interaction. Of course, the food and cheese were outstanding, but what truly made this visit special was the people. The combination of incredible hospitality, beautiful surroundings, delicious offerings, and genuine customer care created an experience our entire team is still talking about. If you're looking for a unique venue for a team outing, client event, or simply a memorable group experience, I highly recommend Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company. It's the perfect place to connect, unwind, enjoy amazing food, and create lasting memories with colleagues and friends. Thank you to Cathy, Sam, and the entire team for making our End of Summer celebration such a huge success. We can't wait to come back!

Soo yummy!! You have to do their cheese tasting!

Great cheese and adorable little shop. Lovely garden out back with Dahlias this time of year.

The Point Reyes Toma cheese is my favorite! We discovered it in 2021 on a trip through northern California, and thankfully can find it locally here in the San Diego area.

Great cheese and customer service.

Great locally made cheese, from some coastal loving dairy cows.

Had a really disappointing experience - beware that there is no where to sit and hang out unless you have a reservation. They won’t even allow you on the patio or to walk over and see the cows. Also would note that this is more akin to an adult’s wine tasting experience than it is to a kid friendly farm. There was nothing for my son to do let along anywhere for us to hang out.

Just stopped for some samples in the gift shop. For me it was enough cheese for one day. I could not imagine doing a full tasting. But the cheeses were great and the prices were also very fair, (better than whole foods)... The drive in is very scenic and worth simply driving through.

This location is run by 3 sisters, and is a coastal gem. They make world class cheese, from cows that are on the property. This location is well equiped to handle a family event. I was blessed to see a calf being born, and trying to take it's first steps at this location.

Delicious cheeses. I was shocked at the (lack of) view from the patio tables. The drive in and out is GORGEOUS. I can't believe they built that nice patio and covered the view with metal siding. It doesn't do justice to the surrounding area. I arrived súper late to the tasting (I blame the rental car clock being an hour off) so we missed the farm talk--which I know is value added. Still, the cheese plate we had for $50/pp was on the small side. I'd recommend you to visit but just have an ice cream cone. We took the rest of our cheese plate to the nearby Pt Reyes North Beach and enjoyed a much more beautiful view. What a shame. Extremely friendly and understanding staff. Still worth a visit if nearby, but not as the main destination due to no view.

Point Reyes Cheese is the very best of the very best. I am a Dutch Wisconsinite so to say I’m cheese obsessed is definitely an understatement. We came across point Reyes cheese and will never buy any other cheese in California!! Flavor profiles are amazing. My favorites are the Truffle Brie and the Fennel Blue. So unique and so yummy! We visited the farm and we were truly blown away buy the hospitality and utter peace here. The cows were happy and healthy and treated so well! The famers and staff are excelling at creating a very environmentally happy operation and we were so impressed with the cheese!
