Clayton Archuleta
Owner, rancher
Copper Thistle Ranch is the Archuleta family's ranch in Livermore, Colorado, selling raw A2 milk by herdshare from its own grass fed Jersey dairy cows.
Clayton and Taylor Archuleta have built Copper Thistle Ranch in Livermore, Colorado since 2018, raising their three children alongside the herds.
They keep Registered Black Angus cattle grazing the ranch pastures, and a separate dairy herd of A2, grass fed Jersey cows. The dairy cows live out on pasture and have their own barn with stalls, and the ranch says its raw milk is free from additives, hormones and unnecessary processing.
The raw A2 cow's milk goes out through herdshare memberships, which the ranch keeps in limited numbers, so there is a waitlist to join. Copper Thistle also sells breeding stock from its own cattle for people looking to improve their herds, and it is a distributor for Ptasnik Land and Cattle grass fed beef rather than butchering its own animals. The family runs a photography service from the ranch as well.

Absolutely love Taylor!!! I called in a panic after spending 2+ weeks throwing out beef/chicken that was going bad within a day of buying it. I know my hard earned money is going to quality beef, and I don’t have to worry if it is fresh or not. Supporting a local family is just a bonus.
These guys are amazing people have great quality products.
We buy our beed local. Great quality, you know what you're getting and Taylor is always good to us.

Sunday to Sunday, 7:30am to 11pm. Raw milk goes through a herdshare membership, so contact the ranch to ask about availability or join the waitlist.
For anything not covered here, ask Copper Thistle Ranch directly on its own site, by phone or by email.
Love doing business with Copper Thistle! They treat you like family! The milk tastes amazing and is fresh and healthy! Don’t think I could ever go back to store bought milk. I make kefir and yogurt and the best is just drinking it. If you’re on a health quest, this is the way to go!
