The Popes grow, buy and sell local, and through summer and autumn the stand fills with Colorado produce, from Western Slope fruit and Rocky Ford melons to tomatoes, corn, peppers, squash and pumpkins.
The garden centre side carries everything from potting soils and composts to seeds, bulbs, roses, shrubs and flowers, plus cement yard art and pottery. There are Colorado specialty goods too, including Colorado Country Kitchen canned goods, Village Pie Maker frozen pies, Fire Mountain jams and Clarks honey. The shop is open every day of the week.

Great looking produce, also fresh beef.
I love love love stopping by Pope Farms. I bought my hanging plants for my porch and will be going back to get some for my deck and patio. The hanging plants at the $40 mark are large, full and unique in color varieties!!! I am happy to support local business, and the customer service is top notch!!! Anddddd, they’re open year round, I’ll be back to see the Holiday Selection of goodies. I also love being able to pick up fresh veggies, local meat & dairy items and they have a large selection of canned goods.: )
