We usually come here every year for a Christmas tree. I love this place. The people are great.
Stopped in for an apple to snack on, and I ended up picking one of the employee's brains on root and squash vegetable cultivation. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I want to start a small garden, and she thoroughly impressed me with what she offered for information. You just saved me what sounded like a headache of a season if I tried to grow squash the way I initially thought I could! I didn't catch her name, but her shirt had plants for coworkers and I couldn't forget that part! You are an AWESOME human; I appreciate your honesty and assistance!

Our family loves coming here for our annual Christmas tree. And fresh wreath. They have Fraser, Noble, Grand, Balsam and Nordmann. But it depends year to year which type they have available. They have a smaller selection but plenty of sizes. We enjoy checking out the local selection of pickles, jams and other canned goodies, pies, game sausages and adorable knick knacks available inside the shop. Great customer service here too.

My son absolutely loved the ladybugs we picked up; it turned into such a fun little garden adventure for us! 🐞 I also found the most beautiful flowers at a great discounted price - it was such a pleasant surprise! We have been to Pope Farms many times through the years for amazing produce, seeds, and even hay. This year, after growing our own bushel of green chili's, we were in search of a roaster (so we didn't have to spend 3 hours over a grill). We found out they offer this service for a small fee. The woman who roasted for us was VERY experienced. She may even be considered a roasting expert. The way she hoisted the bushel over her head and snapped on the flames was inspiring. I hope I am as spry and strong when I am her age! Got home and spent an hour peeling and packaging the perfectly roasted chili's. From picking to freezer in 2 1/2 hours, thanks to that woman and Pope Farms!
