Holcomb Farm is a historic nonprofit farm in West Granby, Connecticut, growing chemical free vegetables since 1756 for a CSA, a farm store and a community food access program.
Holcomb Farm is a 317 acre historic working farm in West Granby, Connecticut, farmed since 1756 and now run by the nonprofit Friends of Holcomb Farm together with the Town of Granby.
The farm grows mixed vegetables on 26 acres without chemical fertilizers or pesticides, not even organically approved ones, and signs the Connecticut NOFA Farmer's Pledge. Its produce feeds a 550 member summer CSA, a 100 member winter CSA, wholesale customers and Fresh Access, a program bringing fresh, locally grown food to around 600 food insecure households a week through the growing season.
The farm store at 87 Simsbury Road opens Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm, selling the farm's own produce alongside dairy, meats and artisan goods from other local farms and makers. More than 10 miles of woodland trails cross the property, open dawn to dusk, and the farm hosts community events through the year.

TICKS are terrible! We come all the time but today we picked over 15 ticks off our dog! We were less than 10 min into our walk and carried her back to the car! The trails are covered in fallen debris from the storms and wind…prime tick farm! hold off bringing dogs right now!
Nice, quite, scenic.
We delivered balloons here for a 1st birthday and the space is beautiful! The event staff was able to let us in early as we had additional deliveries and were so friendly and accommodating!
