Brush Creek Creamery is a small cheesemaker in Deary, Idaho, a licensed Idaho Grade A dairy plant making cheese from Jersey cows milk and ageing every wheel at least 60 days.
Most of the range is raw milk cheese: an Orchard Blue dipped daily in their own apple cider for three days, bries wrapped in local grape leaves boiled in wine, a marinated feta in olive oil with garlic, dried tomatoes and basil, and a white cheddar bandage wrapped in cheesecloth in the traditional method.
Their cheeses have won repeatedly at the American Cheese Society awards, including first places for the Orchard Blue, Mountain Maple Brie and the marinated labneh across several years. You can find the creamery in the Pie Safe Bakery building at 307 Main Street in Deary, open Tuesday to Friday 7am to 2pm and Saturday 7am to 5pm, and they take orders and wholesale enquiries by email.

It's a little out of the way, but in a charming small town. The food is amazing: freshly baked huckleberry pie, still warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream starting to melt! Chicken salad on just-baked crescent rolls. The friendliest staff you could ask for. The storefront is great for buying bakery items to take home!
