Blue Wildrye Farm sits among rolling hills and forests at Princeton, Idaho, having started out in Ellensburg, Washington selling eggs and vegetables before growing into livestock.
The farm practises intensively managed grazing, moving its cattle to fresh pasture daily so the forage grasses and the soil beneath them keep improving.
The farm raises grass fed beef, Berkshire pork, poultry and Midget White turkeys, sells eggs, and milks its much loved Jersey cow Bessie for raw milk. Ordering is through the farm's online store, with delivery offered.
