Healthy Homestead is a multi generational family farm near Kokomo in Howard County, Indiana, raising grass fed beef and lamb alongside pastured hens and a productive garden.
The cattle are rotationally grazed and calves stay with their mothers, the sheep graze year round, and the hens eat a soy free diet that shows in their deep orange yolks. Hormones and antibiotics are avoided in favour of natural, holistic care.
Beef, lamb, soy free eggs and seasonal produce, along with fruit from the trees and berry bushes, are sold directly to the local community through the farm's own store.
