Pasture's Delights
Pasture's Delights is a raw milk herdshare dairy farm in Decatur, Indiana, selling unpasteurised grass fed cow and goat milk plus pasture raised chicken.
Pasture's Delights is a small dairy farm at Decatur in Indiana, run as a raw milk herdshare.
Founder Mark Grieshop turned a former 400 cow confinement dairy into grazing land, and the Ayrshire herd now lives out on pasture, harvesting most of its own food from a non GMO forage diet. The flagship shares come from 100% grass fed cows that receive no grain at all, with an A2A2 share, a low fat share and a cheaper non GMO grain supplemented share alongside them, plus a goat share. No artificial hormones are used, and the fields are kept free of herbicides, pesticides and fungicides that kill the soil. The milk is unpasteurised, unhomogenised and lab tested, and herd owners collect it from more than 30 pickup points including Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Muncie, Richmond, Lafayette, Wabash and South Bend.
The farm also raises free range broiler chickens outdoors on fresh grass, with no genetically modified grain, no antibiotics and no drugs. Cream and butter are kept for herd owners. The farm store adds bulk beef and soup bones from the farm's own cull dairy cows, grass fed beef and eggs from Seven Sons Farms, and raw honey and beeswax bought in from other producers. A named team of farm managers and dairymen runs the milking, the herd health and the deliveries.

I have been a customer for a couple years and can say that Mark is a truly special farmer with incredible passion for his cows matched by an equal commitment to his customers. His long-term vision for the farm is laudable and testifies to his steadfast devotion of bringing raw milk to those who need it for years to come. We have enjoyed A1 and A2 milk as well as goat's milk and countless quarts of raw honey which he obtains from a local beekeeper. These products are gifts from the natural world, and I'm immensely grateful that people like Mark find it important enough to bring these unadulterated goods to the people and to help make this planet a better place to live.
