They raise dairy cows, beef cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens and ducks, with a stated goal of helping people reconnect with real, whole food and the farm it comes from. The Guernsey herd produces A2/A2 milk with a great cream line; the cows are grass fed with a small grain portion during milking.
Raw milk, cream, butter and colostrum are offered in exchange for a donation, with pickup on the farm and weekly milk drops in Mason City, St Ansgar and Carpenter. Beef, pork, lamb and whole chickens are sold by the quarter, half or whole, and the farm store carries seasonal garden produce, from started plants and flowers in spring through green beans, apples and tomatoes in summer to pumpkins, gourds, squash and mums in the fall. Farm tours run for families and school groups, visitors are welcome through the week, and the Bailey Exchange Cottage offers farm stays on 100 acres of farmland beside more than 200 acres of public land.
