Highland Farms Sugar Works is a seven generation family farm in Cornish, Maine making small batch pure maple syrup and maple treats on a wood fired evaporator, sold onsite and online.
Highland Farms Sugar Works makes small, handcrafted batches of pure Maine maple syrup on Towles Hill at Cornish, part of a seven generation family farm that also runs a 500 Jersey cow dairy and a professional timber harvesting business.
Sap is gathered from the sugar bush through taps and tubing, then boiled the traditional way on a wood fired evaporator in the farm's sap house.
Syrup is sold in glass and plastic jugs of varying sizes and grades, alongside maple cotton candy, lollipops, maple nuts, granulated sugar and pancake mix, from the open air farm stand beside the sap house or by online order with shipping. On Maine Maple Weekend visitors can tour the sap house, watch the boil and meet Mr Maple, the farm's baby Jersey cow.

This is a wonderful & historic farm. Their pancake breakfast was perfect & hit the spot. Sharing information on both the dairy & the sugar shack. Lots of products to fill almost any maple lovers niche. Dairy & meat in the farm store. Great local folks to support. We'll be back next year too!
