Farm store located in a beautiful new-build wood barn with plenty of delicious local goods. My husband and I are obsessed with their cheeses (limited edition aged versions each year!) and maple syrup.
Been getting items from here for over a year now, I highly recommend it. The cheese is great, and besides their own produce and dairy, usually have some other locally sourced items ranging from beer/cider to bread and cookies. If in the area or are local too it, definitely stop by!
Not worth drive. We visited in early October. Very limited selection (understandable given season ending). However, in general it was a disappointment. It was not really a welcoming environment and the woman at register was more focused on gossiping and talking politics with regulars rather than helping others.
Nice cheese and good people.
Wonderful milk, cheese, and veggies. The best yogurt in the United States in my opinion.
Great farm with a great cheese selection. The soft ripple cheese reminds me of the cheese I grew up with in France, it was so good! I didn’t buy meat but all the cuts looked great! The cow looked well taken care of, I’ll come back!
I rarely post opinions but after seeing a negative review, I have to say that I have only had wonderful experiences and conversations with the owner. Every year we stop by to purchase the best maple syrup I have ever tasted. In addition, I love that the syrup is sold in glass mason jars. The dairy products are delicious. I look forward to seeing the farms expanded offerings. Lastly, the owner knows her trees and cares about the Earth.
Berle Farm is one of the most magical places on earth. As a farmer myself, I'm in awe of Bea Berle's commitment to farming with nature and the incredible food she produces. She is an inspiration and the farm she's built shows her endless dedication to the health of the land, animals and community she feeds. My husband and I feel honored to know Bea and learn about farming from her and we've run our own farm for over a decade. Berle Farm and it's farmers are a treasure and anyone who has tasted their precious liquids (yogurt, maple syrup and apple cider) or any of the many Berle Farm products know exactly what I'm talking about. Would give 10 stars if I could. One of the best sustainable, regenerative farms in the country.
