Crossings Farm in Lexington, North Carolina raises pastured chicken, woodlot pork and honey on a 200 year family farm, with an honor system farm store open daily that also stocks local raw milk.
Crossings Farm in Lexington, North Carolina calls itself a local beyond organic family farm, on land the same family has worked since 1928 and lived beside for over 200 years.
Jennifer and Ben Myers and their children raise pastured chicken, woodlot pork and honey, breeding the pigs on the farm and raising chickens from day old chicks, following the practices of Joel Salatin and Wendell Berry. They believe a healthy farm can produce great products without chemicals, antibiotics or hormones, and their Black Angus herd descends from cattle Jennifer's grandfather Weldon bred for more than 50 years.
The farm store runs on the honor system, open every day from 7:30am to 8:30pm, and the shelves mix their own meats, eggs and sunflowers with goods from farms they know personally, including Grade A raw milk from Lutheridge, local sourdough, cheeses and Carolina Gold rice. They also sell at the Lexington Farmers Market.

Awesome quality stuff! My mom & I enjoyed stopping by this store, and we’re definitely coming back.
Easy to find and get quality fresh food.
Cute little shack with homemade goods like bratwurst, bread, candles, fresh eggs, kambucha, and non pasteurized milk. Lots of cute chickens that come up to you at their enclosure.
I love that we have this in Lexington, excited to try the chicken breast!

There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best shop to buy local from! You are supporting a small business & not to mention that the food/items are wonderful! My favorite items are the caesar dressing, ice cream (Vanilla & butter pecan are my personal favorites. Honestly the best ice cream I have ever had in my life-no lies told!), and the lotion! You could not ask for sweeter owners-Very, very kind people. The shop is too cute, but thats just an added bonus! Worth every penny shopping here.
I did the farm stay here. I was only there for a few nights but it was the most relaxing sleep I have had in years. I love the countryside here, the community feel. Hell, I never even locked the door or "closed" the store during my time. The host(s) are gracious and respectful. More people need to know about this place and support your local farms.
