A city girl by birth and farmer by passion, Hayley graduated with honours in animal science from the Ohio State University and ran the milk room of a 100 plus cow dairy before starting her own farm. She now keeps pasture raised Alpine dairy goats, raises over 300 poultry a year, market hogs, Champagne D'Argent rabbits and a rescued horse named Chicken.
The farm sells goat milk by the quart or gallon in your own container, sold for pet use under Ohio rules, along with pastured eggs, pasture raised broiler chickens grown without antibiotics or hormones, holiday turkeys, pork by the half or whole, whole rabbit, and bagged manure and compost for the garden. The blog shares the ins and outs of small scale farm life, from goat care guides to the animals' antics.
