Ripple Run Farms is a self serve farm store in Circleville, Ohio selling its own grass fed beef, pastured chicken, heritage pork, eggs and raw honey.
Aaron and Kim Singerman did not inherit their land, they chose it.
They are first generation farmers in Circleville, Ohio, and they raise beef that is 100 percent grass fed and grass finished with no grain and no feedlots, pasture raised chickens that are moved to fresh ground, and Gloucester Old Spot pigs, one of the oldest and rarest heritage pig breeds in the world and one that very few farms in Ohio keep. Their hens live on the same pastures and the eggs go straight into the store. The farm states that all of its meat is raised with no vaccines, no antibiotics and no GMO feed, and butchered at a USDA inspected facility. Pasture raised turkeys follow in the autumn for the holidays, and they ask you to call in September or October to reserve one.
The farm store on London Rd is self serve with self checkout, open every day from 8am to 8pm, 365 days a year including holidays, with no appointment and no online ordering. Alongside their own meat and eggs the coolers and shelves hold raw honey, sold local and unfiltered, and A2/A2 raw milk from their partner Sweet Grass Dairy, which milks 100 percent grass fed cows on 140 certified organic acres and has the milk tested weekly by a third party lab. In accordance with Ohio law that raw milk is labelled for pet use only. The general store carries more than 150 further products the family has vetted to a non GMO, organic or all natural standard, and wholesale delivery is offered on bulk orders over 500 dollars. Circleville is a 20 to 30 minute drive south of Columbus.
