Helios Farms

The brand belongs to The Orthomolecular Garden Church, and members who join the HFPMA buy the farm's raw cow milk and cream in reusable half gallon and quart mason jars. Beef is sold as quarter and full steer shares, pork as half hog shares that include cured hams and bacon, with meat chickens in spring and early summer and eggs from the farm's own laying hens in labelled cartons.

Dairy cows and beef cattle are rotated daily on spray free pasture through spring, autumn and most of the winter, supplemented with hay and alfalfa rather than grain, and the farm says it uses no ag chemicals or pharmaceuticals on its land or with any of its animals. Hogs forage widely on a GMO free, soy free diet mixed with raw milk. Kira is the chief butcher, self trained first and then finish trained by a German butcher, and members are welcome at the farm's hog and beef harvest days. Helios Farms keeps an open door, open farm policy, so members may visit any time, and ordering runs through the members site at rawmilk.church with collection at drop points. The farm also sells its own fine powder vitamin C and the book Buttercup, Me and Vitamin C, which sit behind the orthomolecular name.
