We had an amazing experience. Not only was the brunch incredible (eggs Benedict biscuits) but the atmosphere and staff are all top notch. Specifically Aris, our waiter, who was knowledgeable, funny, and fast. He made the experience one to remember on top of the already exceptional food. A+
Decent.
low quality service, I asked for an Iced latte and the waitress brought me dripped coffee with cream.
Catalin was absolutely amazing, 10/10 recommended to all my friends.
Drinks were amazing and service was prompt and outstanding. We went for a pre dinner drink and appetizer as we had another reservation somewhere else. It was so good we wished we’d made our reservation there instead.
Unfortunately, our experience at this establishment got ruined by the owner himself, Christopher. My friends and I were there for a bachelorette dinner and were all super excited to be there; everything was great until our entrees came out. My friend got an 8oz steak, and was asked pink or no pink for the temp; she asked for pink, and it came out extremely well done, so we politely asked for a recook, where the server said no problem and was happy to take care of it. The owner then came over to our table, and immediately became defensive and was being quite rude over the steak, swearing it was cooked perfectly and not allowing us to get a word in. He then had the audacity to go to the kitchen, bring out “the steak she was eating” when it absolutely was a completely different steak (half the steak was gone and the asparagus was cut up where none of that besides 1 bite of steak was gone from my friends plate), and pulled out a flashlight to prove that the steak was cooked correctly. We had all told him that the plate he brought out was not the steak we had gotten, and on top of him continuing to argue with us, he asked if she wanted to keep that plate; knowing it wasn’t our plate, we had him make her a new one. A few minutes later, he brought out a fresh new plate, where the steak was precut to show us that it was cooked correctly, which is ridiculous because the steak prior came whole. Besides that unfortunate event, everything was fantastic; the appetizers, drinks, and rest of the food was great and our server was so amazing. She was kind, great at her job, and was so accommodating to our party. Thank you to the server and the host for giving us the name of your hateful owner/manager.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

I came from Norfolk, Virginia to Newport to visit my friends and wanted to have a bite and some good time so we chose this place. What I want to say is that it was the best experience ever in a restaurant in this city. I have been to fancier and more expensive places here in Newport, RI, but never felt this well like here. From the beginning I was greeted with a warm smile and welcome by a waiter, who kindly directed me to the host. The hostess was smiling, having positive attitude, then she sat us inside. Our waiter was very professional, polite and responded in a good manner to all the questions that we had. We ended having calamari, pretzel bites and crab cakes for appetizers and for mains I had Lobster Mac and Cheese and my wife had the Swordfish. Drinks are perfect, we both had the Dante's Inferno. Our experience was A M A Z I N G, from service to food, to drinks, to everything. I highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back here.
We came to Stoneacre garden on a Friday afternoon and was able to get seated without a reservation. The waiting staff here are so friendly and offered some great food suggestions. We just wanted some drinks and to share a burger but we didn’t realize how delicious everything would be. Highly recommend if you’re in the area! Make a reservation if you’re going during a busy time because I can tell it gets packed.
We were looking for a place in Newport for 14 people, and no one had space for such a big group on a Saturday night. Finally, we found this amazing spot with such great vibes and atmosphere, where we celebrated my mom’s birthday. It was a wonderful, cozy family night. The food could have been a little better, but the service was excellent Thank you Stoneacre Garden.
