Pastured poultry moves to fresh grass daily, the laying hens range over 10 acres of pasture and mature hardwood forest, Mangalitsa pigs live in a wooded grove at the pasture edge, and the beef herd is grass fed.
They sell chicken, eggs, Mangalitsa pork and beef, including whole, half and quarter beef shares, through an order form for collection at the farm. Pickup is by confirmed appointment only, so place your order and arrange a time before you visit.

Will always recommend The Farmstead! I have always been impressed with their commitment to the well-being of their land and animals, and it shows in the quality of the meat produced. Always tender, flavorful, and no negative reactions to it, like we have had in the past with other meat sources. Best beef in the area--and that's saying something, coming from someone who has always raised their own beef and is a self-proclaimed "beef snob"! Do your taste buds and your health a favor, and support a great local family while doing so.
Our ¼ beef share from The Farmstead at Sunset Grove has been excellent. Christy is a wonderful communicator and clearly dedicated to providing high-quality, sustainable meat for the community. We previously purchased a turkey that was outstanding, and the same care and integrity shine through in this experience. It feels good to support a local farm that truly stewards the land and the animals with such heart. Highly recommend!
