My wife buys these eggs. They're filthy. In America eggs are washed and refrigerated before being sold to the consumer. But, these eggs aren't washed. They have all manner of crap on them. Really gross.

I love this place! They truly know how to farm the right way. They are excellent stewards of the land the Lord has given them. As soon as I pulled up to pick up my order I was greeted by the family farm children. It makes you feel like you're part of the family. And if you go at the right time of day you get a jet show from the neighborhood Air Force Base. It was very exciting. Their meat and eggs are very fresh and tasty. Samantha carried out my order to the car and we had a very nice conversation getting to know one another. I highly recommend every one support local ranchers and farmers. Yes you may pay more but at least you know where your meat comes from and you can have confidence that it's handled with care and not fed toxic food or given steroids and antibiotics. You are what you eat. Either pay now and stay healthy or pay later to doctors.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up
We had a tour of the farm given by Zach and it was truly enlightening. It was great to see true stewards of the land and animals in action, but also explaining what they do. I also purchased several different products including ground beef and chicken thighs. This is some of the highest quality, best tasting meat you will ever have. Prices are excellent for the quality and everyone was helpful and friendly. Thank you for the tour! We will be back for more of your excellent products.
We have ordered from Zach and family at Behind the Oaks Farm for several years now, and cannot rave enough about how great their products are. We've ordered a half calf, many multiple pounds of hamburger meat, pork roasts, chicken & more. Service is prompt, courteous, friendly. We would love to do a subscription for eggs, produce, & meats, but travel so much that it isn't feasible at this time. Otherwise, we'd be stocking up on a monthly basis! Their newsletters are informative and entertaining, and I love Samantha's recipes and cooking tips. We are so blessed that this regenerative, family farm is in our area and that we can buy locally, the highest quality and best tasting meats anywhere around!
