Cold and unfriendly demeanor. I was unable to collect milk from the farmer's market one week due to an illness, after I'd paid for it, and I was taken aback by the short and rude response I got when I asked if I could collect the next week. I won't be giving them my business again.
Great farm with great products! Can text during the week to confirm your order for a Saturday morning pickup. It's usually between 10 am -11 am you can pick up on Saturdays.
Tried the goat cheese and dulce de leche at the Quarry today and was blown away! Also, the gentleman who sold it to me was lovely. You've gained a new customer!
About the farm
Goatilicious is a Grade A raw goat dairy and creamery in New Braunfels, Texas selling seasonal raw goat milk, farmstead cheese, cajeta and goat milk soap since 1999.
Goatilicious is Robert and Claudia's Grade A raw goat dairy and creamery at New Braunfels in the Texas Hill Country. The family has kept goats since 1999, began making cheese shortly after, and became a licensed Grade A dairy and creamery in 2017, selling raw milk under state permit 482857. Milk is sold for six to eight months of the year, from about February until late summer, following the goats' natural cycle, and is bottled only when ordered so it is as fresh as possible, collected at the farm by appointment or from local farmers markets.
The fall and winter milk goes into the creamery's farmstead goat cheese, made alongside cajeta and goat milk soap. The other side of the farm, under the Ragels Ziegenhof herd name, breeds registered Nubian, LaMancha and Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats with nationally shown genetics, selling breeding stock and semen. Milk orders are by text, and visits are by appointment.
