Feathers of Faith Farm is a small family farm in the Texas Hill Country at Bulverde.
It began in 2018 with four hens, two Rhode Island Reds and two Barred Rocks, and moved to its present land in March 2022 for more room to grow. The family raise and process their own meat chickens, keep a laying flock that free ranges by day, milk their own registered A2/A2 Jersey cows and grow the majority of their own produce. The cows in milk are Birdie and Missy, alongside Birdie's calf Rosie and Missy's calf Clover, born in May 2026. They graze grass pasture, topped up with fresh local coastal hay when grass is short and a certified organic dairy ration milled at Coyote Creek in Elgin, Texas.
Raw milk leaves the farm through a Texas herdshare, where members pay a small yearly fee towards the care of the herd and collect their weekly gallon from the farm store. Places open and close as the small herd allows, so it is worth emailing the farm to ask. The store is a self serve honour shop on Ridge Creek Lane, open Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm, paid by cash or Venmo. Beside the raw A2/A2 milk and cream you will find farm fresh eggs from a Texas Pullorum Typhoid certified clean flock, organic vegetables, prickly pear jelly, raw milk soap and a tallow whip moisturiser. The property is a working farm, so visitors are asked not to feed or pet the animals and not to go through any gates or fences.
