Redmond Heritage Farm Store in Salt Lake City is the farm's own shop selling Redmond Heritage Farms raw milk from pastured cows, raw cream and butter, pastured eggs and local meat.
Redmond Heritage Farms was founded by Rhett Roberts to help others seeking optimal health, and sells its real raw milk through the farm's own stores and kitchens across Utah.
This store sits on South Highland Drive in the Sugarhouse area of Salt Lake City, with sister stores in Orem, Heber, Roy and Springville and a farm truck carrying products further afield. The milk is never pasteurised or homogenised: a full fat product with no additives, fresh from the farm.
The cows are pastured with constant access to grass and eat fresh green grass, sprouted barley, dry hay, Redmond sea salt and Redmond clay. The farm tests its milk's nutrition quarterly and publishes the results, with CLA and omega 3 levels typically two to three times higher than commercial milk. Raw cream and butter are sold at the farm market locations alongside pastured eggs and local meat.

I love paying premium prices for some angry, middle-aged woman to plop my food down in front of me and silently walk away when I say thank you. I come here for the healthy ingredients, but walk away feeling like I spiritually consumed a feces sandwich. I go through streaks of eating here every day but end up deciding not to come back because the character of the staff is so repulsive. I don’t know what it is about the people they hire, maybe it’s just me, but they seem to either really hate men or just generally hate their lives. I was under the impression that they treats their employees very well but I guess that and pre-tipping the maximum amount is still not enough to buy some common courtesy? Hopefully pre-tipping at least inspires washing their hands after they use the restroom and prevents them from spitting directly into my food🤞
Great Mediterranean flavors and friendly service. Highly recommend!

Most of our party had issues with their orders, including missing items and dishes that needed to be remade or refunded. Service was inconsistent, and one staff member who handled our concerns was dismissive and unhelpful. Fortunately, another employee who initially took our order came out to apologize and issued refunds, which we appreciated. We were told the restaurant was short-staffed and training, but the overall experience was still unacceptable. This is not the first time we’ve had issues here with food quality, missing items, and service and it looks like other reviewers have also had similar experiences. I hope improvements are made, as the experience does not currently reflect the standards expected.
Super cute and the employees too! It’s a little pricey but so is everything: )
Fancy nutrient dense products absolutely top-notch and smiling shoppers with suggestions.. only place that I know that has amazing breads that toasted dively, exceptional quality butters and of course the raw milk selection.
Great tasting food.
Food: I've only tried the garlic and rosemary fries here, but boy were they good! They are fantastic on their own, but their fry sauce is also amazing, some of the best I've had. They fry everything in beef tallow which I'm also a big fan of. I didn't try the coffee, but I believe it's from La Barba, which is a local roastery here in SLC. Service: The lady who took our order was very nice and knowledgable. She did a great job at upselling the fries (even though it was an easy choice because you could smell them the second you walked in the door), and she answered some of my questions about their ingredients and whatnot. Very positive experience overall. They came out quick, but not too quick, which is a good sign that they fry them after ordering. Atmosphere: Very cool spot because it's half restaurant/cafe and half grocery store. Everything they sell comes straight from their partner farms (listed on their menu), as well as local suppliers. They have a pretty broad list of things to buy from fridge and pantry staples to more upscale, unique ingredients. If you're into farm-to-table and care about quality ingredients and sustainable food production, this place is a must-see!
I want to address some of the reviews leaving a low rating due to “pricing”, this should not be a reason for a low rating. Don’t blame a fine establishment that is striving to provide us the incredible products that we should be able to buy anywhere for trying to recoup costs. And since we cannot buy their products everywhere they deserve every dollar they get for their products. Instead of leaving a low rating bcuz you feel things are expensive, get a second job so you can afford to buy things from places other than dollar general. Now my thoughts on this store……ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGGGGGG!!! The milk, the cheese, the yogurt, the custard, the cereal, and among other things THE SALT!! The food from the cafe was FRESH and DELICIOUS!! I want to thank the owners for bringing us the products that others cannot. Much appreciated 🙏🫡
My husband found this place while we were on medical tourism for a somewhat famous SLC naturopath nearby coming here from Big Island Hawaii. We ate at Redmond’s three times & loved it. The greens were fresh and the meat was sustainable and delicious. Definitely a must check out.
The hamburgers were very fresh and delicious, and I loved every bite. Their fresh market is also fantastic, especially the raw milk, which is amazing. I’m so glad I’m able to get fresh milk here. This place is a must-visit for great farm-to-table food and quality local products!
Redmond’s Heritage Farm Store is hands down one of my favorite spots in town. It’s rare to find a place that cares this much about the quality of the food and the people they serve. They don’t use seed oils, and everything they make is fresh, clean, and made with real ingredients you can feel good about eating. They raise their own cows and sell their farm-to-table meats right in the store — it’s awesome knowing exactly where your food comes from. I’m in there a couple times a week, and every time I walk through the door, the staff greet me by name and treat me like family. It’s just one of those places that feels like home. Special shoutout to the amazing team: Dewii, Jenna, Brooklyn, Amira, Ashlee, Shanna, Kayden, and Norah — you all make this place what it is! I’ve got a soft spot for their hamburgers and their garden omelette — both are incredible. And my girlfriend is obsessed with their oat cakes. Can’t recommend this place enough.
