Brothers John and Mark, sixth generation, run today's mainly arable and vegetable farm, cropping wheat, barley, oilseed rape, oats, linseed and five acres of vegetables, with ten acres of woodland. The shop opened in a converted farm building in May 1990 and sells the farm's own seasonal fruit and vegetables within hours of harvest.
Alongside its homegrown produce the shop stocks selected fresh produce from other local farms, plus local meats, cheeses, eggs, bread, cakes and artisan foods from named Kent producers, and local wine, gin, cider and beer. Seasonal events run through the year, including pick your own cobnuts, pumpkins at Halloween and a Christmas market.
