Great farm shop food is good quality the cafe is a lovely little extra staff are friendly.

Great little farm shop with a very good selection of gluten free food and gluten free local beers.

Being fully honest here it seems like a nice farm shop, decent prices, and selling good products however me and my friend went into the cafe today and didn’t have the best experience. I suffer with multiple severe anaphylactic allergies and all of them are of common use in kitchens. My friend ordered some food and I sat down with him at a table there while I ate a bar I had with me from my bag. Just after while I was eating one of the workers there came over and held onto the chair next to us and it looked like he was just taking the spare chair however he instead proceeded to get extremely close to my face and told me that they do not allow outside food in the cafe. I replied to this by saying I have severe allergies, and was just eating something small. He said to me that it didnt matter and was against policies. I put my food away and after my friend had finished his food we both went up to the counter and spoke with the man. I said to him that I respect the policies and should have asked but most restaurants allow people to eat if they or someone they are with has bought something and I had also remembered about the pizza express incident where something similar happened. The man said it didnt matter and I should have asked but to be honest I dont think he is the type of person to say yes even if I did. I then said that the situation was fine, I respect the rules but he didnt have to get into my face, he said that he was trying not to create a scene but getting into a childs face like that does create a scene. He kept trying to justify his actions with the same responses. I then told him how I struggle to trust restaurants even if I tell all my allergy needs because my friend was killed in a restaurant where they did not properly check if her food had peanuts in it which he responded to by shrugging his shoulders. Utter shit. A teenager telling a man he cant trust restaurants to get it right because his friend died and he shrugs. I also said to him that I will ask next time which he then replied with “there will be no next time so don’t come back”.

Initially we were invited to see the process of the apple juicing which was fascinating. The farm shop is the best I have ever visited with such a vast amount of stock & of course Owlets apple juice. We will be back again within a few weeks. Friendly people and a lovely tea room to make it a perfect outing.

I love this farm shop. I purchased a turkey for Christmas one year and it was great. The local drinks and coffee are also brilliant and the sourdough bread...yummy.

Lovely little cafe but not much indoor space if busy. I had sour dough toast with avocado, grilled tomatoes and portobello mushrooms, which was delicious. The shop itself has lots of yummy treats and I came away with fresh strawberries and pear juice.

We visited the farm shop today. What a lovely experience, so much variety and choice. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We then went to the farm to pick some pumpkins, which my granddaughter (6) loved. We were then able to wander through a large flower area, with a small vase for my granddaughter and two much larger containers for my daughter & I. We spent a peaceful, happy times choosing our flowers, cutting whatever flowers we liked. We all had a very special time. We had some lunch there, freshly cooked and delicious. Our flowers were wrapped by a friendly, helpful, lady. Such an enjoyable time. I can highly recommend visiting.

Great collection of organic foods including bakery, poultry, Owlet brand fruit juices made without any added sugar or preservatives from their Loddington Farm. Prices reasonable when compared to supermarkets and very neatly packaged. Also freshly grown seasonal vegetables and fruits sold in the farm shop.

Visited on only their third day of opening at their new venue on Heath Road. Fantastic selection of very fresh fruit & vegetables. Wide variety of local, made in Kent, food stuffs. Chilled & frozen too. Added bonus of the Kampa Coffee cafe in the shepherds hut trailer out at the back. I had the best-tasting cup of coffee, so much so that I had to have a second. The warm sausage rolls are beyond description, just try them. I’ll definitely be making repeat visits.
