It calls itself the raw milk of Tampa Bay and it means it. The milk, cheese, kefir and yogurt are all raw, made on site from the farm's own herd, and the eggs come from free range and pastured hens, ducks and quail kept alongside the goats.
Pam is unusually open about how the herd is fed. Her blog explains that goats are foragers rather than grazers, so the milkers get grass hay around the clock, peanut hay morning and night, and grain with added minerals on the milk stand, following the Weston A Price guidance of one percent of body weight. Holistic care comes first, conventional medicine is used sparingly, and any doe given antibiotics is pulled from the milk line. Orders are collected at farm pickup in Tampa on Wednesdays and Sundays, or at a pre order only curbside pickup in St Petersburg every other Tuesday.
