Block & Butcher is an absolute gem in Wendover. The quality of the produce is exceptional, and you can really tell they take pride in what they sell. The local Dinton Farm free range eggs have delicious rich yokes far superior to a supermarket egg 🥚. The sausage rolls deserve a special mention, they are, without question, the best I’ve ever eaten. I’ve travelled extensively and consider myself something of a global sausage roll tester, so that’s not praise I give lightly! The Marmite sausage roll was absolutely delicious: perfectly seasoned, beautifully flaky pastry, and just the right amount of Marmite to add a rich, savoury kick without overpowering the filling. My husband had the spice chorizo which I was scrumptious. If you’re anywhere near Wendover, do yourself a favour and stop in. Outstanding local produce, fantastic craftsmanship, and unforgettable sausage rolls. I’ll definitely be back!
