A real gem of a farm shop and food van. We stopped by on a long walk through the Chilterns not expecting to have a hot snack on the way.
We visited for farm day and had such a lovely time. Food was really good with picnic tables. Small farm shop too.
Popped in yesterday for first time. Very warm and friendly. You get the feeling of family!! Look forward to trying out products purchased 😊
Lovely little farm shop and cafe. Lovely coffee, food and cakes. With lovely countryside views. Friendly staff. Scotch Eggs are the best ever 😍😋. Farm shop has everything, from meat, to pies, veg, jams, honey, cakes. So good, lots of it made on site, an there own meat. Highly recommend.
Great customer service, always smiling and very friendly. Lovely bacon bap, can grab some food to walk round Chequers - an impressive view! Fantastic quality meat, would also recommend picking up some bits from the farm shop, reasonably priced for the quality and always delicious.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Wonderful farm shop and cafe. The farm shop is small but very well stocked. Prices are expensive but not excessive. The cafe is wonderful. Amazingly friendly customer service with a wide range of freshly cooked locally sourced products. Coffee, bacon roll and soup is great. There’s loads of fabulous picnic tables. Ideal on a dry day. Less pleasant when it’s raining. The toilet facilities are ok but nothing special. In summary the perfect pit stop if you’re walking Coombe Hill or Chequers.
My friend who live locally took us to this lovely little burger van on our hike. It is part of the farm shop close the Chequers, with tables and benches for customers to enjoy the great view while eating the freshly made burgers. I really loved that juicy burger in a very soft and fluffy bun. Very simple food executed perfectly. It might sound trivial but I highly appreciated they used this very clever wrapper, it covers the bottom of the buns so well that you won’t worry about sauces and meat juice dripping on your clothes, which I’ve seen plenty of times in other places that merely give you a burger in a napkin… give it a go if you happen to hike past it!
Stopped here for an evening tea ☕️ during a long hike with the group. I was told that their burgers are the best 🍔 which I’ll have to try next time. The hot chocolate looked yummy too, topped with whipped cream and marshmallows. Shop offers fresh organic fruits and vegetables. They sell bakery items, condiments and bottled drinks too.
