Springwater Farm is a Pasture for Life certified organic livestock farm run by Amelia and Jason Greenway on the National Trust's Killerton estate at Columbjohn, near Rewe in Devon.
In 2023 the couple became the youngest first generation tenants to take on a National Trust tenancy of over 900 acres, the same year they were named Tenant Farmer of the Year at the South West Farming Awards. Their Highland cattle graze organic permanent pasture in a purely pasture fed system, growing slowly to produce deeply flavoured, naturally marbled beef.
Alongside the Highland beef the farm raises free range rare breed Mangalitza pigs and sells wild venison, and its pork mince took Best Food Product at the Food Drink Devon Awards. The farm opens its gates through tractor trailer tours, private farm tours, game cookery sessions and a wild learning holiday club for children, all part of what the family describe as farming harmoniously with nature.

Lovely little self service shop. Absolutely amazing sourdough. We will most definitely be returning...next time for cake hopefully. Highly recommend 👌
LOVE their ethos, but the produce speaks for itself. Highly recommend their grass fed beef boxes, and farm-based events for the family.
Amazing afternoon for Apple DAY on the 12th October 2024. Great hosts.

I first came across Amelia & Jason at Springwater farm in 2023. They are such a pleasure to deal with and it is so great to see them innovating in the regenerative farming space. I enjoy following the journey on their instagram!
